Bemrad Kuwinli:
Son of Aqa Mohammad, Bemrad Kuwinli is born in Mangjic district of Jawzjan province in 1970.
Kuwinli received his primary education at his home district and then proceeded to Peshawar, Pakistan for secondary education in 1991.
After graduation, he involved himself in social work. He consecutively won the first and second provincial council elections and elected as senator.
In 2013, he was appointed governor Jawzjan when General Abdul Rashid Dostum and Mohammad Alam Sayee, the previous governor of Jawzjan, were at loggerhead with one another.
Kuwinli has five sons and as many daughters. He has no political affiliation with any political party.
His mother language is Turkmeni but he speaks Dari and Uzbeki as well.
