ZARANJ (PAN): Six people, including five women, have been detained with 73 kilograms of opium in southwestern Nimroz province, police said on Monday.
Nimroz police chief, Gen. Mohammad Kabir Andarabi, said the detainees included an Iranian and four Afghan women. A Toyota car was also seized from the alleged traffickers.
Javed Ahmad Kargar, the police spokesman, said the opium being smuggled from Islamabad area to the provincial capital was recovered late on Sunday.
